You can’t miss May 22nd in Cascia….if you’re here in Umbria at that time. Near Norcia and October, 2016 earthquake epicenter, Cascia did suffer a bit of a shake-up. But soon….everything will once again “be coming up roses.”
Sagras are food festivals in small villages all over central Italy, running about 10 days. Locals cook up the goodness and young ones serve at table. One of our favorites? The July Festa di Sant’Anna in the mountain area near Assisi.
